Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry now serves customers in their cars, continuing our "no touch" policy. We ask customers to drive into the parking lot and wait in line in their cars until a volunteer comes to them and gives them the menu. After making their choices, customers remain in line and as usual, volunteers will place the groceries in the car. This no touch process helps keep everyone safe.
-
We are privileged to be supported by the Full Circle Food Pantry Garden. A group of Master Gardeners and other residents spend great amounts of time and energy growing organic vegetables just for our customers. Produce is harvested fresh and brought directly to us on the days the pantry is open. How special it is for us to be able to provide produce that carries a high price tag in the stores! We are pleased to be able to offer dairy, fresh produce, bread and meat, thanks to support from the community and in partnership with the Full Circle Food Pantry Garden, the Food Bank, All Star Dairy and Big Y. We are grateful to everyone who helps us offer a wide variety of groceries.
-
While waiting for the order to be filled, customers are in a congenial atmosphere with volunteers who genuinely care about them. Laughter abounds and customers leave with a smile and a "thank you".
-
There are no restrictions on the number of times a customer may access the pantry, and people are urged to make use of our service as often as necessary. Bodies with no food cannot work, play or learn.
